WHY THERMASSAGE SPAS?
Quality in every detail - an engineering work of art inside and out.
Thermassage Spas are built with the highest quality materials and components available. The Aristech acrylic surface and fiberglass reinforced shell is stronger and more robust than most high-end boat hulls, the plumbing system is made from commercial grade PVC tubing for maximum longevity, the main components are manufactured by Balboa, and each synthetic cabinet & ABS bottom pan is uniquely crafted to each spa.
Industry Leading Hydrotherapy Massage
Jet placement with a purpose: the Thermassage Therapy System jets are placed strategically to target specific muscle groups and pressure points, promoting healing and relieving pain and stiffness throughout your entire body.
Reverse molding with dedicated above the water shoulder massage jets: the neck and shoulders are where many people carry most of their stress, and the Thermassage shoulder massage seat specifically focuses on relieving tension in these areas.
Whether is for melting the stress away from your daily life or for healing a sports injury, the Thermassage Therapy System provides the most therapeutic and relaxing experience possible.
Commercial Grade SAE 304 Stainless Steel Frame
The structural backbone of all Thermassage Spas is the strongest commercial grade SAE 304 stainless steel frame in the industry. SAE 304 stainless steel provides greater structural integrity than wood, plastic or PVC framing and offers superior corrosion protection. Unlike wood, steel will not expand or contract with moisture and will never rot, warp, split or crack, and is immune to animal infestation or termite damage. The steel sub-structure of each Thermassage Spa carries a lifetime warranty. Fun fact: early SpaceX Starships used SAE 301 Stainless Steel in their construction, before moving over to SAE 304 for the SN7 test tank and Starship SN8 in 2020.
Hand Rolled Fiberglass and Vinyl-Ester Resin Reinforced Shell
Affixed to the SAE 304 steel frame is the thickest and strongest Aristec acrylic and fiberglass and vinyl-ester resin shell in the industry. After being vacuum formed into its shape, the Aristec acrylic shell is turned upside down and reinforced with 8 to 10 layers of hand-rolled vinyl ester resin and fiberglass. The hand-rolling process is essential to ensure the removal of any air bubbles as well as the even distribution of reinforcing materials throughout every nook, cranny, and contour of inside of the spa shell. The fiberglass structure of each Thermassage Spa carries a lifetime warranty.
Custom Molded and Fully Sealed Fiberglass Reinforced ABS Bottom Pan
All Thermassage Spas are fitted with a fiberglass reinforced ABS sealed bottom pan, providing a robust and structural foundation that seals the bottom of the hot tub, locking in heat and sealing out moisture and unwanted rodents and pests. Vacuum formed from a single sheet of plastic, our ABS base is perfectly integrated into each of our spa’s stainless steel sub-structure.
Energy Efficiency
Providing an R-20 value, our Triple Insulation System (TIS) harnesses all thermal gain from the pumps and the heater inside the skirting while reflecting the colder outside air away from the spa. By combining high-density foam insulation on the spa shell, Polyso high-density closed cell foam paneling affixed to the interior of each synthetic side panel, along with Reflectix wrap around the entirety of the interior space and ABS bottom pan, Thermassage Spas has created one of the most dramatic energy-saving insulation systems ever introduced to the spa industry.
Another significant benefit of our Triple Insulation System is that it allows for maximum serviceability and easy access to the spa’s internal parts and plumbing connections. The panels and Reflectix wrap can be taken out and put back together to factory specifications.
Since it is not filled with foam, all components and plumbing connections are clearly visible and easily accessible. “Full-Foam” hot tubs that are entirely filled with solid spray foam inside are infinitely more difficult or sometimes even impossible to diagnose or service on site.
Commercial Grade PVC Plumbing System – Every Jet Connection Glued & Clamped
Thermassage Spas uses only the highest quality plumbing materials and glues, kink-free flex PVC tubing and stainless-steel hose clamps on each pressure fitting. Using commercial grade PVC tubing along with the approved PVC cement and stainless-steel clamps for each jet and manifold connection is the absolute gold standard for worry-free longevity and dependability.
Some spa manufacturers use lower quality clear vinyl tubing with glue, some use vinyl tubing with clamps, some use PVC with glue, but only select few premium manufacturers will manufacture their spas using both PVC with the approved PVC cement as well as hose clamps on each pressure fitting for maximum reliability.
Easy and Care-free Water Care
100% No Bypass Filtration: the quiet-operating circulation pump works continuously to filter 100% of the spa’s water 24 hours a day. In other spas, water bypasses the filters when the jets are on, which is when you need it most. To make the system easy to maintain, the recyclable filters easily lift out for cleaning or replacement.
ThermaZone® Ozone Purification System: As ozone spontaneously breaks down into oxygen, it kills over 99% of all present bacteria and fungal organisms. It’s one of the most powerful, natural cleaners available, which is why ozone is trusted by medical laboratories to sterilize equipment and tools. The ThermaZone® System will automatically maintain healthy, crystal clear water while reducing the need for chemical sanitizers.
High Quality & Non-Proprietary Balboa Control Systems (Standardized Components)
All Thermassage Spas use good, reliable, high-quality Balboa OEM components that are easy to source and competitively priced when needing replacement. When you choose a spa that uses non-proprietary parts with standardized / universal fitments, it means that your spa will be more reliable in general, and you will always be able to find replacement parts easily and at a much lower cost. In the long run, the cost of ownership of a Thermassage Spa will be much lower, and your overall ownership experience will be far better.
Many spa manufacturers have proprietary parts made that only fit in their specific hot tub brand. By doing this, these manufacturers have essentially created a monopoly for replacement parts, meaning they can control both the price and availability of parts when your hot tub needs service. In general, monopolies are great for companies and bad for consumers since you can only get parts from them at whatever cost they would like to charge, which is often 3x to 4x the cost of a standardized component.
